Organic fabrics

Natural & kind to your skin

Organic fabrics to feel good

In addition to the sustainable certification of our fabrics, we also attach great importance to high quality because it plays an important role in the longevity of a garment. We do not make any compromises on this point: Our fabrics feel pleasant on the skin and at the same time meet the demands of everyday life, so that you can feel comfortable in our sustainable clothing all day long.

GOTS Global Organic Textile Standard

The GOTS certificate is the world's leading standard for the processing of fabrics made from organic natural fibers. It defines environmental and social criteria at a high level that must be observed along the entire textile production chain. With GOTS-certified fabrics, you can be sure that the entire production - from the fiber to the fabric - takes place under environmentally friendly and socially fair conditions.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 by Oeko-Tex®

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent product label for all types of textiles that have been tested for harmful substances - from the yarn and the fabrics to the finished garment. Fabrics receive the STANDARD 100 label if they have been successfully checked for chemicals that are harmful to health on the basis of the comprehensive OEKO-TEX® catalog of criteria. With STANDARD 100 by Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics, you can be sure that the textiles are free from chemicals that are banned by law and harmful to health.

Materials

Organic cotton (GOTS, kbA)

Compared to conventional cotton, no pesticides or toxic chemicals are used in the cultivation and processing of organic cotton. Genetically modified seeds are prohibited. Although organic cotton requires the same amount of water as conventional cotton, organic cotton mainly uses rainwater. Our organic cotton fabrics are all GOTS certified.

Tencel

Tencel is a cellulose fiber that is obtained from sustainable forestry and is biodegradable. The fabric has an exceptionally smooth surface with a silky feel. Tencel is manufactured in a closed-loop process, i.e. the solvents from production are filtered and can be returned to the cycle. Tencel is comparable to viscose in terms of wearing comfort: Silky, flowing, breathable, crease-resistant.

ECOVERO viscose

ECOVERO viscose is the most environmentally friendly viscose fiber. It is made from wood from sustainable forestry and is certified with the EU Ecolabel because it meets high environmental standards throughout its life cycle. ECOVERO viscose falls softly, feels pleasant on the skin and has a silky sheen. The fabric is breathable and wrinkle-resistant.

cupro

Cupro - also known as vegan silk - is made from the short fibers of cotton bolls, which are a waste product from cotton fabric production. Our cupro was manufactured by the Japanese company Asahi Kasei in a closed-loop process, i.e. the solvents are filtered after production and the water can be reused. Cupro looks and feels just like silk. But compared to real silk, cupro can be washed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.

bamboo

Bamboo is a fast-growing raw material that does not require pesticides and fertilizers. We use bamboo fabrics from the Chinese company Liahren - Like Tencel, the fabrics are manufactured in a closed-loop process, i.e. almost 100% of the solvents are recycled. Bamboo viscose is soft and flowing to the touch, breathable and crease-resistant.
