Every fabric has a long story with it. Natural resources, cotton farmers, fibre spinners, weavers, dyers … until the fabric is finished, it goes through many different hands.

Certified fabrics

We only use certified, sustainable fabrics for our fashion. GOTS-certified fabrics guarantee environmentally friendly and socially fair production from the fibre to the finished fabric. Of the 100 fabrics certified by OEKO-Tex®, we also found out about the producers and checked them for environmentally friendly and socially fair working conditions.

In addition to the certification of the fabrics, we also attach great importance to high quality, because it plays an essential role in the longevity of a garment. We do not make any compromises on this point: Our fabrics feel pleasant on the skin and at the same time meet the demands of everyday life, so that you can feel comfortable in our fashion for a lifetime.


GOTS Global Organic Textile Standard

The GOTS seal is the world’s leading standard for the processing of materials made from biological natural fibres. It defines environmental and social criteria at a high level that must be adhered to along the entire textile production chain. With GOTS-certified fabrics, you can be sure that the entire production – from the fibre to the fabric – takes place under environmentally friendly and socially fair conditions.

STANDARD 100 by Oeko-Tex®

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent product label for all types of textiles that have been tested for harmful substances – from yarn and fabrics to the finished item of clothing. Fabrics receive the STANDARD 100 label if they have been successfully checked for chemicals that are hazardous to health based on the extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. With STANDARD 100 by Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics, you can be sure that the textiles are free of chemicals that are prohibited by law and harmful to health.

Organic cotton (GOTS, kbA)

Compared to conventional cotton, no pesticides or toxic chemicals are used in the cultivation and processing of organic cotton. Genetically modified seeds are prohibited. Organic cotton requires the same amount of water as conventional cotton, but rainwater is mainly used for organic cotton. Our organic cotton fabrics are all GOTS certified.

TENCEL ™ is a natural fibre that is made from eucalyptus wood from sustainable forestry and is biodegradable. The fabric has an exceptionally smooth surface with a silky feel. TENCEL ™ is manufactured using the closed-loop process, ie the solvents from production are filtered and can be returned to the cycle.

ECOVERO viscose is the most environmentally friendly viscose fibre. It is sourced from woods of sustainable forestry and is certified with the EU Ecolabel because it meets high environmental standards throughout its life cycle. l'amour est bleu Cupro


Cupro – also known as vegan silk – is made from the short fibres of cotton bolls, which are a waste product from cotton fabric production. Our cupro was manufactured by the Japanese company Asahi Kasei in a closed-loop process (like Tencel), which means that the solvents are filtered after production and the water can be reused. The fabric is 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

l'amour est bleu bamboo


As a sustainable textile fibre, bamboo is controversial because similarly to viscose, chemical solvents used in fibre production that are not naturally degradable. We use bamboo fabrics from the Chinese company Liahren. Like Tencel, the substances are manufactured using the closed-loop process, which means that almost 100% of the solvents are returned to the cycle. The fabrics are 100 certified by OEKO-TEX®.
